In this great future, you can't forget your past

Bank Holiday.

Typed a few lines from weirddddd dreams last night:
-tall, blonde artist who likes to curse in French.
-smoking cigarettes next to a really pretty little river, sitting on the tiny bridge with feet in the water.
-t-shirt with the words "I'd rather be a cuttlefish" on it
-gremlins drinking vodka
-making a bong out of a zorb
-smoking seaweed on a barbeque

Hopefully, some of this may make it into stories.

Hopefully, no one will think me insane if this happens.

Went for a walk with the dog and parents today. Very vivid memories of going there before, but they deny all knowledge. Confused to say the least.

I wanna hold you so much

Went to Granny's today, after writing a rather considerable contribution to Motel Cabbage.

Anarchist Quote of the Day: Probably some sort of... middle-class pun. =)

Quotes from "The House Of Sleep":

In your eyes tonight I saw a sightlessness.

Cigarette smoke swirled so thickly in the air that Sarah could barely see her way forward.

He was addicted to dreams.

He quickly sank into a romantic coma from which there was no awakening.

I ain't got no future or family tree

Workkkk today.

Boss bought some new pepper pots, teatowels, and cutlery racks for the dishwasher. Jayne's response was: "what's the catch?"

We're having a meal on Wednesday on account of Boss's and Kerry's birthdays, and Yvonne's leaving. They're making me wear a dress. Eep.

Five reviews for new Motel Cabbage chapter. Hopefully I'll scrounge a couple more during the week =)

Day off work today, which is weird. I *always* work on Mondays.

So I'm not sure what to do.

I bought a motorbike helmet this morning. It's... awesome. =)

I've been reading FanFiction.

I should be writing, but.... =P

Huge chocolate craving. Preferably a Bounty, but I'll settle for.... a Crunchie. =)

I really want to go to another party. Charlie's is on Friday, but I have to go home for the night, so I can't pass out. And I have work the next day.

Ah, well....

There's more to life than vodka.

I jest, of course.

Vodka and herbal cigarettes.

And writing.

C'est la vie.

The trick to life is not to get too attached to it

Lust tastes like tequila and love tastes like whiskey. Love burns for longer and warms you up on the inside and sometimes it makes you do stupid things. Tequila makes you wasted. You can get wasted on lust and warmed by love. ~Jackson Rathbone

I must get a tattoo of this. I wish I was 18 already. Only one more year and two months today!

Day off work today. I've been ploughing the internet all day getting inspiration for stories, etc. I've realised that I have fuck all of the holiday left before I have to go back to school. Hopefully I'll have failed everything so that I don't have to go back. =)

<- I love and want this tat. I'm gonna be inked up on my 18th birthday =P

Thursday 19 August 2010

And now it's four in the mornin' yes yes y'all in

No work today, thank fuck.

Woke up on the floor, covered with someone else's sleeping bag.

Vomit was crusting up my hair.

There were three mixing bowls full of my vomit next to me.

Tim and I were quite happy to get up at 5am, and almost trip over Mike, who was lying in the hallway, guarding the empty drinks table.

We woke him up, had a deep conversation about what the fuck happened last night, and then I got everyone diet coke.

We then woke up Will - affectionately named Jack Daniels, because I couldn't remember his actual name, and he had a bottle of it - with a chirpy "Wake up, it's 5 o'clock!" He was unimpressed.

We drank a bit more, to postpone the hangovers a bit more, and then I went and washed all the vomit out of my hair.

Then, more people had woken up, so I made everyone tea and coffee.

We struggled with the task of opening the back door for the dog, and after literally half an hour, I managed to open it. A small button almost defeated us.

We then watched some Top Gear, and then Mike left for work. Our prayers are with him.

I snuggled up to Will on the sofa for another couple of hours, before the guys left in search of bacon sandwiches.

We watched shitty kids' shows.

I eventually left, after having to entertain Chris's little sister for two hours.

I stumbled into town, and then manfully endured the 40 minute bus ride home.

I live.

Oh, 'Motel Cabbage' chapter 10 about to go up =)

If I crash on your couch, can I sleep in my clothes?

Work today, followed by Chris's partay.

Hiding a bottle of vodka in your bag at work is interesting, especially since all the staff knew, except the boss, including his sons, I think =)

Managed to get to Chris's house with just an address and an "it's a few streets away from the school, yeah?"

Party was.... moist.

Lots of booze, consumption of which began at 5.30.

2 cans in the first 10 minutes.

Kept half-filling my can with my vodka to save glasses, environmental and all that jazz.

I'm a cuddly and dancey drunk =)

Kept kissing people's arms to prove that I was sober.

And dancing to Shakira.

Empty stomach.

Lots of vomit.

Tim puked all over me. Eew.

Had some nice philisophical conversations with some nice drunk / high people.

Quotes of the evening:
"Hello, I'm Aslan, I come from Wales"

"We can't find Will and George."
"We can't find Will and George."
"We found Will and George. They were at Tescos."

"I had Jack Daniels for breakfast."

"Wake up! It's 5 o'clock!"

"Hi, Jack Daniels. I love you."

"I'm sober. I'll prove it. I'll kiss your elbow. See, I can remember body parts. Why don't you believe I'm sober?"

"Were you the one who was cheering me on while I vomitted?"

[repeated line]
"Can I have some [Jack Daniels]?"
"Yeah. But this cost me £11."

"We should go on the trampoline. That'll make us be sick."

"COOKIES! We need... to go to Tescos. Not us, though. Send someone to Tescos. We need cookies. Cookies sounds like a good idea."

"I'm on my invisible bike!"

"You'll regret it in the morning."

Work.

Busy.

Collecting all the people you love to sing you a song

Did lots of writing today. Almost finished chapter 10 of 'Motel Cabbage'.

I'd estimate that it should be posted on... Wednesday.

Yeah.

Did some writing for my original 'Real'. A sneaky peaky preview:

Jay waved the cleaver around at the chefs currently in the kitchen, waving a teatowel around his head, hollering at the top of his voice.

They dispersed, greeting Jay on their way out.

“Hey, chef!”

“Nice to see ya, JJ!”

“Thanks for the slushy, lover!”

“FREEEEEEDOMMMMMM!”

“Fuck off, Braveheart,” Jay muttered to the last one, as he ran out of the kitchen, his shirt already off.

Jay threw his cigarette down the sink, knotted his pirate bandana around his head, and started to clear up the mess.

Yep.

It's rather odd.

Give me Texas wisdom

Workkk today!

Fairly busy, nothing special.

Convinced my manager that there is going to be a zombie apocalypse. I'm bringing in my evidence on Monday.

Got a lil bit o' writing done on the bus home from work, but not much.

Posted up a chapter.

Drank coffee.

Got royally pissed.

Not much to report, overall.

We're all in tears for a world that's broken

Day off work today!

Helped Geord out in the garden all day, then made dinner: roasted sweet potatoes, runner beans from the garden, chicken [vegeterian option for me], followed by apricot and apple sorbet [improv recipe. not bad]

Learnt some new guitar chords, and daydreamed a great scene for a story involving someone whose life revolves around their guitar, despite not being able to play it.

Gave much thought to my Zombie Apocolypse escape plan.

Replied to 'Motel Cabbage' reviews, and got a few more, too! You guys... beyond the best =) I wish I could give y'all hugs and kisses and Jack Daniels. And Jasper, of course.

Not much being done with 'Real', my original story, a la momento, but 'Motel Cabbage' got a boost. Nearly finished the next chapter! Should be out tomorrow, or Sunday, depending on whether I go to sleep tonight. At the moment, I'm drinking rather strong coffee, playing with a lighter, eating pickled onions, and my music.... full blast through headphones [parents object otherwise]. I'd say sleep is doubtful. But I have work tomorrow, so I may have to.

Hmm...

Anyhoo, on with the mindless nonsense that shall shortly issue forth from my mad mind!

Workkkkk today!

Saw The A Team in the evening.

And dyed my hair. It was meant to be dark brown. I now have purple hair. Have to explain THAT to my boss on Saturday!

A fair amount of reviews for the latest chapter of 'Motel Cabbage'. Thanks, guys, you're the best! xXx

Took a job, workin' late

Heyy there!

Workkk today, very busy. Lots of old people. Sigh. Did lots of writing today, as I couldn't sleep past 2am. Finished chapter 8 of 'Motel Cabbage', and got half-way through chapter 9. I shall post in a second. Stuff's getting all angsty and dark, with gooey undertones and oddness. A strange combination, yet hopefully interesting to read. Listened to lots of Muse and My Chemical Romance to write this, with a bit of Wolfmother, and Michael Jackson.

'Real' is getting fleshed out now. Lots of character development a-going on. There are mentions of Smurf pyjama bottoms. I'd really love some.

Work tomorrow as well, but Thursdays are usually fairly quiet. I got the application form for my motorbike licence today. Going to send that off tomorrow, hopefully get it within two weeks, so I can get my CBT, and then -hopefully- a gorgeous bike. Unfortunately, I have to wait two months to ride a 120cc bike, but... worth the wait. =)

What about sunrise? What about rain?

Day off work today =)

Cleaned my room. Encountered some big spiders. Survived.

Scribbled some stuff for my original story: Real. A short preview:

He sat cross-legged on the floor, leaning against his dilapidated sofa, scribbling a best-seller novel down on the backs of unopened bills with a blunt pencil. He smoked a long, thin herbal cigarette.

Also wrote some more of 'Motel Cabbage'. I've got some form of plot, now, and I've been writing scenes for later that popped into my head. It's gonna get weird.

The beautiful, inspirational Jeff Buckley. This picture hugely inspired 'Real'.

There was a time, when crazy days would start with wine

Workkkk today, yet again, but the boss always has Monday morning fever, so is never in. Therefore, we can rock out to the radio, and have our phones with us, and all that shadizzle. Yeahhhhhhh. =P Too busy today to do much of that, but... we had the chance to, and this was good. Did some writing on the bus, and I'm reading Holly Black's 'Ironside' at the moment, which I'm picking the good quotes out of.

Howdy!

Work today. Rained. Fell over in the courtyard, then threw up. Oh, yeah. Doesn't help that one of my co-workers is insanely gorgeous, and has now seen me vomit. Yeahhhhh. Ah, well, I got a hug =). Not much else to report, really. Spent some quality time with the guinea pig I'm babysitting for the fortnight. Hopefully get some writing done this evening, but if I don't, then doesn't really matter. Got lots done yesterday.

Was hypnotized by a strange delight under a lilac tree

A lazy day off work today. I sit in bed, listening to Bob Marley, playing with a lighter. I made a peach and orange smoothie, and strong coffee, and enjoy them as I type, accompanied by a jar of pickled onions.

I'm working mostly on some original material at the moment, but hopefully I'll get some inspiration for 'Motel Cabbage', and be able to post up a new chapter either today or tomorrow.

Reading 'The Time Traveler's Wife' at the moment. I got it off Amazon for 1p. I do love Amazon. I highly recommend it. There are some great quotes in it. My favourite at the moment: "I had an epiphany. I was standing in the toothpaste aisle when it happened."
